Violin A. Stradivari 1716

BELLY: made in two pieces of bear claw spruce with medium-narrow grain spacing, slightly widening in the middle and on the sides. Medullary rays get out very well. BACK: made in two pieces of Balkan maple with narrow grain spacing and medium-width flames running downwards. VARNISH: red-brown with orange reflections with an antique patina that aims at reproducing a fifty-year aging effect. NOTES: the border on the scroll and the lining strips are painted in black.
